The future of our world is in the hands of the children of today. What they do and what they conjure up will hopefully benefit mankind. Science and technology are what move society forward and with the right encouragement, we can see a world that is bright and full of home. The Young Innovators Fair, which recently took place on January 2-3, 2016 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania played host to a bevy of young minds, children who with the proper tools and mentors will lead the way and help create a great future for mankind. The event is a springboard for children to share their ideas and use the resources available to them to make life better, not just for themselves but for everyone around them.

Set in the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, the The Young Innovators Fair is a fantastic platform to launch many a child’s career in the science and technology realms. The space is large and the attendance is high. The main focus of the event is STEM, an abbreviation for “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math”. These four disciplines are what make the fair so special and are the foundations of any quality education. Schools across the globe recognize this and instill it in the minds of many children. Presentations that incorporated LEGO, Little Bits, and K’NEX attracted young and older viewers alike, making for one heck of a show.

Personally, I care very deeply about education and feel that with a strong knowledge, one can just about accomplish anything. Presentations, new products, and networking were the main attractions of  the The Young Innovators Fair. Children, parents, and teachers come to events like this to further the quality of education and to ensure that our future is run by people, young people, who are not only gifted in STEM but care about their fellow man and their place in society.
